Samuel has struggled with housing instability for years. He’s worked hard, always held a job, and supported his family despite his living situation. At 57, he had been homeless for four years. Then Samuel met his CUCS case workers and found his support system.
Anne worked for years as a receptionist while caring for her parents. When they passed away, her depression made it hard for her to seek support. She became homeless. In June 2017, Anne moved into our Prospect Place women’s shelter.
Sharifa and her children were homeless for seven years. Their lives changed when Sharifa found out they would soon have a home of their own at The Sydelle, our newly-built supportive housing residence.
