A history of instability and homelessness can make a parent fearful of separation their young children, even after being permanently housed. This instability can cause children to fall behind developmentally.
This is how CUCS steps in to help. CUCS’ supportive housing case managers help parents research options for care, access tutoring, accompany clients on Pre-K visits, help evaluate and choose a program, and create a plan for building a relationship with their children’s new school.
Hundreds of parents and children are now thriving with the support of CUCS.
