Raise up Brighter Futures
June 21, 2018This summer, CUCS is partnering with Raise New York to Raise up Brighter Futures. For the entire month of July, every purchase made at Raise New York will support CUCS!
Raise New York is a sports lounge located in Kips Bay, Manhattan. Their mission is to give back by donating a portion of their proceeds to meaningful causes. Since their inception, they have raised over $70,000 for charitable organizations through month-long partnerships and fundraising events.
Our relationship with Raise New York began back in March of 2018 when CUCS’s Young Professionals Group (YPG) hosted a happy hour fundraiser at the restaurant. The night was a huge success and we enjoyed working together so much that we immediately began planning an entire month of joint forces!
Raise New York is donating 20% of their July proceeds to CUCS. That means that every drink, meal, brunch or dinner sold during the month of July will support our work. To celebrate and maximize the partnership, CUCS will be hosting several fun events.
On Saturday, July 14th we will be Raising a Racket and hosting a Wimbledon viewing bottomless brunch party. For $40, guests can enjoy an entrée and two hours of unlimited drinks while watching the excitement of the Wimbledon games unfold! The fun begins at 11:30am, with raffles and games too good to miss.
On the evening of Wednesday, July 25th CUCS’s YPG will be hosting a happy hour for peers to mix and mingle. Everyone is invited at 6pm to come and enjoy the mixer.
To close out the month, we will be celebrating our successful partnership with a bottomless dinner on Saturday, July 28th at 7:30pm. For $45 guests can enjoy a delicious entrée and two hours of unlimited drinks. Bring your friends and come dine with our fun YPG members!
