The field of providing housing and services for homeless, disabled and low income individuals and families is continually evolving. Research has lead to evidence-based practices - interventions that are proven to work -- and by developing comprehensive plans, some communities are able to meet the needs of their most vulnerable citizens.

Unfortunately, many groups do not have regular access to best practices or need assistance in developing and implementing strategies to meet the needs of their constituents.

CUCS’ Training and Consulting Services are designed to address this need. We provide hands-on coaching, skilled technical assistance, practical training and concrete tools to build effective programs and systems of care.

Our Training Program has developed more than 250 hours of training curricula that can be customized to meet an organization’s unique needs. Our trainings have been designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and practical tools they need to improve services for their clients. Our team of professional trainers has direct service experience and train more than 2,500 management and direct service staff throughout the U.S. each year.

Our Consulting Services are tailored to meet the programmatic, organizational or system’s level needs of our clients. Consulting services include: program development; organizational development and management; needs assessments; long-range planning; and data management. Our consultants have guided government agencies, coalitions and organizations in rural, suburban and urban communities in analyzing, developing and implementing strategies to achieve better client outcomes.
