Drawing from more than twenty-five years of practical success, CUCS’ Training and Consulting Services (TCS) is a leader in the provision of consultation and technical assistance services to other nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Using knowledge gained from CUCS’ own direct service programs, our consultants have assisted hundreds of organizations to build their capacity to develop and manage supportive housing.
TCS offers technical assistance on a variety of issues which concern supportive housing providers and assists in the
design, development and modification of their service programs. Individualized assistance is offered in all phases of project development, including project conceptualization, service program design and implementation, program evaluation and staff development/training. Since 1995, TCS has provided consulting and technical assistance to supportive housing developers, public and nonprofit social service agencies, property managers, advocacy groups, communities, and provider coalitions across the nation.
TCS also works with numerous county, city and state governments and coalitions of public and non-profit organizations. We are frequently asked to conduct needs assessments and assist in community planning and systems change, often creating continuum of-care plans and strategies that address local needs and goals.
