To achieve its mission, CUCS continues to develop new programs and projects. Current projects include:

The Lenniger Residences

CUCS has purchased two adjacent sites in the East Tremont Section of the Bronx in order to provide affordable housing and services to low income families in Bronx Community Board 6.  Once completed the sites will provide 92 units of supportive housing to low income and formerly homeless individuals and families.  Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2009 and the residences are expected to open in 2011.

The Hegeman

The Hegeman is a newly constructed supportive housing residence being developed in Brooklyn by Common Ground Community, with CUCS providing support services to tenants. Scheduled to open in the Spring of 2012, the Hegeman will include 160 studio apartments for formerly homeless, special needs and low-income individuals with support services provided by CUCS.
